This is a follow-on course from Stained & Kiln-Formed Glass – small projects. It is suitable for those who have some experience in art and design and would like to extend their knowledge of working with glass. Often Students enrol in order to make a replacement for a damaged glass panel in the home, then stay on to study stained glass and kiln-formed glass to create their own designs.

  • Learn how to cut glass safely, and how to cut more complex shapes
  • create a design suitable for making into leaded panels
  • learn how to use a variety of stained glass tools safely and effectively
  • learn how to make a bowl or panel using fusing and slumping kiln formed techniques
  • learn how to assemble a glass panel using one of the 3 different techniques.
